a letter to ash
It’s so weird feeling like you’re doing all the right things and everything feels so sad inside ! I dissociate from all and am at a standstill as everything is moving so quickly. It’s such a strange feeling. I want the feeling on sadness to evaporate but it is like I am caught under this wave and cannot catch the break in it. What does one do when there is absolutely a light at the end of the tunnel but you cannot see or feel it, the brightness and warmth. It is just cold.
dear ash,
while I do not possess the ability to answer questions that even professionals of the mind cannot, I do appreciate your courage to ask them. to express such sadness to a stranger that you have no reason to trust is, in itself, brave. at the same time, I understand it may come from a place of desperation. although I do not know what led you to share your feelings with me or what sort of trauma caused your pain, I certainly feel what you mean. every single one of your words resonated with me in a way that is both beautiful and a pity.
I can't help but wonder that if all the right things aren't bringing you anything but misery, then is it possible that it's time to reevaluate what right means to you? after all, can something be truly right if nothing good ever comes of it?
